John has been taking care of customers in the four state area since 1991. John started as a sales representative at a used car dealership. After a couple years he then went to a GM dealership in 1993. From 1993 to 2006 John was a sales representative, finance manager, sales manager and general manager in his 13 years there. He then spent the next 13 years at another GM dealership in Independence, Kansas. His role there was sales manager, website manager, and finance manager during his time there. Always in the back of his mind he thought there would be a day when he would do this his way. That is what led him to this great opportunity.
In 2015 John was looking for a sales representative and was contacted by Danny Christmore. Danny and John enjoyed 4 years working together but knew they would like to try something together. They really clicked on ideas on taking care of customers and doing things the right way. Danny has over 40 years experience in the four state area having owned Christmore Auto Sales in Coffeyville, Kansas for over 22 years and working father Bill Christmore at Christmore's Used cars for 20 years.
You will appreciate the "old way" of doing things where the price you see is the actual price. No hoops to jump through and no hidden fees. No charges for administrative fees and a temporary tag is free with your purchase if you have all the required documents. Kansas sales tax will be applied to Kansas residents only. Non Kansas residents have no other costs. Service contracts are available at extra costs on most inventory. We offer them but do not push them on our customers. Financing is available but not required. There is no sales people calling you 5 times a day after you come to our dealership either. We treat our customer with respect, integrity and you will enjoy the experience. Just ask someone when you see a John Lay decal on the back of there car or read our reviews.
